Occasionally
I build an instrument with no particular player in mind, to be
sold online, or I may receive an instrument in trade for a deposit
on a new order. This page will be devoted to those instruments,
so check back often as the stock will rotate. |

Broadway, Trenier guitar #12
Here is an early Broadway which has been played extensively over the past several years. It features parallel bracing, and has a husky, throaty acoustic sound – not unlike a 30's Epiphone. Plugged in the Kent Armstrong PAF humbucker is sweet and full. This guitar has European tonewoods, and is one of only two instruments I made with an asymmetrical headstock. The price of this guitar is $3750. |

Broadway #2
I made this guitar for
myself, and have played it steadily since 2005. It is a 16" Broadway
with what I would call a "30's style" sunburst finish. This Broadway
is parallel braced, and features a 25" scale and 2 ¾" rim depth.
It has an Armstrong Johnny Smith pickup, whose tone is magnificent.
This guitar has been sold. |

Magnolia
Classic, 18” body
This is the second Classic,
made winter 2005. It features highly figured domestic maple back
and sides, an old sitka spruce top (from a batch from 1973), and
maple and ebony binding all around. The neck is a pretty full
D shape, the nut 1 ¾, and the scale length is 25 ¼. The tone is
warm, full and mellow – big voice, good balance, a great guitar
for chord melody and finger style playing. This guitar has been sold. |
