I seem to be making more and more custom instruments as time goes by, and I will try to post as much of my work as I can on this page of my site, so check back often.

Rosine

This is something I wanted to do for a long time, and I finally put it together for the Healdsburg guitar festival last August. The Rosine has an 18" body with German maple back and sides and an Engelmann spruce top from a tree felled over 50 years ago. It features art-deco inspired oval shaped sound holes and multiple piece headstock overlay made of ebony, bubinga, and European and domestic maples.

7 String

I recently completed my first 7 string. It features a 2 1/16" nut, 25" scale, and quilted maple back and sides. The sound is warm, mellow, and balanced, and it is quite a comfortable instrument to play.

Oval Hole Archtop

This guitar has a 17" lower bout, 25 ΒΌ inch scale, and x bracing. It has the depth of bass indicative of single sound hole archtops, but has a clarity and note separation many lack. I'm quite satisfied with it.
